(Apologies for the double post, my browser cocked up royally!)

Right. I posted in Deviation Thumbshare and Premium Thumbshare asking people to show me their photography.

I asked for;

Fashion photography
Portrait photography
Landscape photography
Animal photography

I also said that it wouldn't just be a normal feature. Instead of a few thumbnails I would write a personalised REVIEW on your work and I had loads of responses from excited deviants! I had so many responses in fact that I have decided to separate out the features awarded into separate categories for easy viewing and to enhance ease of viewing.

Congratulations to the featured deviants!

Fashion Photography

I didn't have ANY submissions that really came under the category of 'Fashion' so this section has been delayed until next week. Keep your eyes peeled, I shall be on the hunt!

Portrait Photography

ThroughMyEyesPhotos Submitted 6 thumbnails to the Premium Thumbshare Forum.

Her work is beautiful and it only takes a quick look at her page to see how personal her work is. She photographs her friends and captures them in a way to show how much she loves them. She is just learning how to take classic and professional portraits, and is constantly improving as you can see in her gallery. Go give her some support guys :)

She states the reason she wanted to be featured is;
"I would like to be featured, because I want people to see my talent and I want to know what others think of my photography."

Landscape Photography

Miguel-Santos is our landscape guru of the week. Gorgeous colours and elegant structures dominate their work. A varied artist who focuses on photography, their gallery is well worth a look.

They didn't state a reason for wanting to be featured, but they sent me a sneaky point (my first one ever!) though this had nothing to do with the feature. I am just a sucker for manmade structures in landscape photographs.

Animal Photography

Katzilla13 has got a fantastic array of photographs in their gallery, and the best of is the animals. Clever use of depth of field and careful choice of colour temperatures is what I think makes these images beautiful in their own right. Some quirky characters are of course the main personalities!

Each photograph has a little story telling us all about our colourful subject, this makes it all the more personal and lovely.

Honourable Mentions

I had to feature this image because I love it. Simple as that. Check it out guys.

Summer Hedgehog by TheRedLightning

And my coursemate at University and friend, NoreeCorrino
If you like anything Victorian or Gothic, check out her page. A nice alternative to the usual perception of 'gothic' imagery.

Well that's it for this weeks features! That isn't it for fun stuff though.

I am going to ask each of you to suggest someone YOU know that you think deserves a feature. Tell me why they do and what they do and send me some links.

Take care guys, and congratulations on our featurees!
